Vanilla essence?

    Is vanilla essence ok to use?  I see it has sugar as the last ingredient, or perhaps it says syrup, so not sure what that means.

    Hi Nadine,

    It's fine. You use such a small amount it doesn't matter. Lizzie (David's wife) says this somewhere. If you're worried you can get imitation vanilla essence which has no sugar.
