I did email the manufacturer and got the info needed, and some products do seem fructose free. No sweeteners used either.
I found some of the Lewis confectionary products today in the local healthfood shop. I had researched the ingredients, and got some NAS peppermint chocolate, coconut rough, and yoghurt buttons. They had many sugar/fruit products, so be aware and careful.
Seems definately no sweetness! I have had the peppermint one so far. The initial taste is unsweet....but becomes pleasant, that melt in the back of the mouth satisfaction definately leaves you wanting more. The mint oil makes the flavour natural and yummy.
So, I recommend this for us sugarfree? Sugar eaters would say its foul, I'm sure!
There was orange and strawberry flavoured NAS chocolate- the flavours coming from 'orange oil' and 'strawberry oil'. I decided against these, as I thought they might contain fructose. Any knowledge on that, anyone?
So...check your healthfood store :)
