Sylvia sounds yum, but when i have my porridge i only use a small teaspoon of rice malt syrup and thats sweet enough. When i was eating my greek yoghart i was putting nuts in, i used my coffee grinder or kenwood and finely ground them so i could eat it easily
Julie, that's a great idea with the nuts, I have a grinder, so will use it. I now realise I don't need that much syrup, too!!
(eye roll) lol!!
This was my first time, & I was used to having my porridge very sweet, brown sugar on the bottom, brown sugar mixed in & more on top!! Now I know better!! haha
As far as Wikipedia is concerned, I won't use them, too many dodgy things can go on there, plus anyone can go into their pages and change things to suit themselves. And woe betide you if they don't agree with your views!! Even if you can prove you are in the right, they can still blacklist you, just for trying to be, well, I don't know, truthful & nice, I guess. I've read a few things, but cannot remember where, as I forgot to bookmark them. But I try to remember to warn you if people are selling things, but then, if there is more than one place advocating the same research, and they publish the research sources, well, it's then up to you to disprove it. Otherwise I think you must take it as proven until such time as someone else disproves it, don't you think? I'm not wanting to get into an ongoing argument about this with anyone, but, I guess I'll jut do that until I'm proven wrong!! Maybe that's a bit naive, but then that's me, I always try to believe the best in everyone, unless I'm proven wrong, even than, I still give people the benefit of the doubt, 'cos not everyone knows everything, do they? There's lots of things I don't know, until someone tells me about things, then I know. But if no-one tells you, how do you know unless you just stumble upon stuff/things? I do believe some people try to 'put an old head on young shoulders' as the saying goes, forgetting that the young person hasn't had the life experience they've had. Life is for learning, we should never stop. Except now, I'm stopping!! lol
