    I've just started my withdrawal and want to get prepared for when I can use the special recipes using dextrose.

    Can anyone tell me where I can buy this stuff?

    Big W in the brewing section has 1kg bags of 100% dextrose monohydrate. Brigalow brand.
    Also I suppose the brew shops would have it also, make sure it says 100% though as some of the brewing dextrose has sugar added as well.

    My Woolies in Murray Bridge SA doesnt have it. The brew shops do, cheaper too. Usually nice small local businesses too :)

    Hi, Jane, did you try Big W? I e-mailed them & they said they had no plans to discontinue it, but Woolies said they were letting it run out so they can discontinue it.

    IGA sells it too (and cheaper than Big W) and I second the home brew stores.
