So you have cut out the hidden sugars too? Are you following the Sweet Poison recommendations fully? Sorry, I just wanted to check you are not just cutting out sugars that you add, because that's what some people I've talked to mean when they say they are giving up sugar.
When I lost weight I counted calories and did food groups through Wesley Weight Management, then I found a free site online which does virtually the same thing, but is a lot easier as it does it all for you. It's called calorieking.com.au
I find I can't rely on my appetite control completely, after years of being a binge-eater, so I still count calories for maintenance.
The other thing is, you may find you are like some here who need to cut carbohydrates, particularly refined ones, in order to lose weight.
