Sorry couldnt find anything regarding this on the site, just wondering if cream cheese or cheese slices were better, for on the crackers with some tomatoe and cucumber, maybe a little ham?

cream cheese and cheese slices are fine as long as they are full fat.
I assume you have read David's books? They are full of information related to all this.

I am new too.... but have been noticing that avoiding any ham that is "honey roasted" or has "honey" in the description seems to have sugar. So I have been avoiding those :-)
