I am new-ish and I understand what you are saying. However, I have learnt so much more from the discussion forums and now that I am 100% committed to "FF" find that the guides just supplement the site.
Initially I was also upset but am happy with the backup support of being able to ask questions - because the book can't address it all.
What do others think?
