Hey guys, can you help me please, just bought and ate (was delicious) organic turkey, had dextrose, sucrose, dextrin and grape juice and some sodium......

I believe sucrose and dextrose are fine what about dextrin and grape juice.... (these were down the lsit at least).

    cheers Jo.

    Hi Jo,
I believe sucrose is normal sugar...which is half fructose...so probably not a good option if you are wanting to reduce fructose. Also the order of the ingredients indicates whether the quantity is negligible or a lot, the higher up the ingredient list the more there is. I would also be wary of the grape juice that is added.....Lynette

Sucrose is just normal sugar which is half glucose and half fructose which Lynette mentioned.  I believe Dextrin is in David's bad list.  I would be wary of the grape juice, it depends on the quantity.  Depending on how much sugar was listed in the NIP, might not be a good option for a daily consumption.

    Hello Jo
Erm, can you explain please, how "Organic turkey" has any additives at all? I get organic chicken and it is simply that...................just chicken..............how did the sweeteners get added to the turkey?
    cheers

Good point, Freda.....lol....it's amazing what manufacturers will put into our food, isn't it? I mean, turkey tastes good all by itself, why add anything to it? I would be Googling the Company & asking them why they felt they had to add anything to it.
Myself, I'd rather buy some turkey & roast it myself, just with some seasoning, and freezing slices of it for later. worth the effort, maybe do it one week-end when not much is happening....

On that note, I'll say, wish I could afford to buy it in the first place, and say....
    Bye for now!!  lol.........
