grainy dextrose taste

    Hi Everyone,  Just wondered if anyone has a solution to the "grainy" taste of the dextrose in the icing, chocolate etc.  I like the taste but would like it to be smoother so any suggestions would be welcome.  Thanks  Catherine

    Havent actually found it grainy..... it's very fine like castor sugar, is urs the same?

    I have made icing with it and I dont know if I would describe it as grainy.... maybe a little.... but it was soooo sweet I wanted to throw up.... I halved the sugar next time and found the texture and taste beautiful
