Has anyone tried to freeze any of the recipes in Davids book?  once they have been made of course...

As I am usually cooking for one and I occasionally want to have the sweet treat.. I was hoping I could freeze single portions to have at another time..  for things such as cake, cheese cake.. muffins, maybe even pancakes..

If anyone has tried please let me know

    Thanks
    Leanne:)

freeze away! I make stuff all the time and freeze them.  I make up batches of pancakes and freeze them (my son loves pancakes at the moment).  Cakes, muffins and pancakes will all freeze well.  If your making cakes just ice them (if you want) once they are thawed.  Cheese cakes will freeze well too along with some pies, just make sure you defrost them in the freezer, or very very slowly in the microwave.  Biscuits are a little more difficult, you will need to freeze the biscuit dough.  But what you can do is roll the biscuits into a log and cut off slices or roll them into balls, that way they are all prepared and you just need to defrost them and cook them (defrosting little portion will be easy compared to 1 big lump and should defrost by the time your oven has heated up!).
