DAVID - In the SPQP book, pp 98-102, you recommend against eating low-fat foods because of the studies done by Dr Krauss on small-LDL particles. But since he didn't differentiate between fat & fructose, the conclusion that low-fat products free of fructose are dangerous seems to me to be stretching it a bit. I'm not concerned about eating full-fat products for myself but my wife is adamant that they are not good for us. So I tend to buy low fat cream cheese and the like. Also, if the quantities of low-fat food we eat are small, it probably won't make a lot of difference. Dr Krauss' studies related to very low fat diets.

It's a mixture of cream cheese (13%) and cottage cheese (67%) and contains 4.7% fat (3.3% saturated) and 4.8% sugars. The only ingredient which looks anything like sugar is maltodextrin and this makes David's OK list. Presumably the sugar is lactose.
Hello John
Actually this is not ok. David recommends avoiding at all cost, anything "light" or "fat free" as he says they don't know what the process of making something low fat, or fat free does to the body.
He recommends all full fat products as it's not fat that makes us put on weight, but fructose.
