    Hi,

My wife and I have recently read both books & are now subscribers. We are also about to put most of the recommendations into practice.

I was wondering if anyone(David?) is familiar with the China Study, and what it said about animal fats or proteins, cholesterol and it's 'mechanism of action'(I am aware of the criticisms as an epidemiological study).

If this has already been raised would you please refer me to the relevant question.

I need to know if for no other reason than how I can respond to my vego friends who consider it the bible on this & most other food topics.

    Thanks

    Shane

Hi Shane, I recommend you have a look at Denise Minger's take on the China Study: http://rawfoodsos.com/2010/08/06/final-china-study-response-html/ Settle yourself in for a long read! Some of her other stuff is great too, like this: http://rawfoodsos.com/2011/09/22/forks-over-knives-is-the-science-legit-a-review-and-critique/

Oh, if you've already 'been there done that' perhaps your friends should have a look at Denise's kind of light hearted 'How to Win an Argument with a Vegetarian'... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heWprUncqIw

And the quickest way to get a response from David is to post your query on the Sweet Poison Facebook page.
