    The label on the 500ml squeezepack says Sugars 17.8gm/100ml.
    How does this equate to the 43.1% sugar shown by David in his Table Sauces guide?

    I don't know, does 100 ml of sugar weigh 100g ? ml is a measure of space, and g a measure of weight, so it's not the same as 17%

    According to the masterfoods website, this product contains 17.9 grams of sugar per 100 grams, ie 17.9% sugar.

    If it doesn't agree with Davids chart, then maybe they've changed the product?  It's still too much sugar!

    Thanks for the answers.
    I just wanted to make sure I understood how David arrived at his number.
    Clearly they have changed the product...I cant imagine what it tasted like at 43%!!
