Does anyone know if Rice Malt Syrup is fructose free? I am using the Pure Harvest brand and the list of ingredients just says Rice. In the description it says, "Rice Malt Syrup is an extremely versatile and relatively healthy sweetener which is made by culturing rice with enzymes to bread down the starches and then cooking until it becomes a syrup. The final product contains soluble complex carbohydrates, maltose and a small amount of glucose..."

Read the rest of the label . .  it's 45% "sugars" but the ingredients list shows them as maltose, which is kosher.  I read today that you can try glucose syrup as a honey substitute. I must do so.
