    I am a farmer who value adds to her products, producing dried fruits and jams.  Can anyone tell me if I make jam with dextrose would it be suitable for diabetics.  Im not confident on this.  Thankyou

    I would think if you did this, it would be of value only to people who are on the sugar free diet.  I would make 'diabetic' jam using the same stuff the other people who make diabetic jam use.  Otherwise, you're just opening yourself up to be sued, saying that something is 'diabetic', if someone eats it and has an attack, especially in this day and age, regardless of if it's the cause or not.
