Could someone please explain why dried fruit is a not recommended? Other than it's not as healthy as fresh fruit, I would assume it has the same level as fructose?

    Thanks.

No fruit has anything your body needs so desperately that it can't get it from fructose free sources in all the amounts you need.

Here's the reason.  Imagine if I gave you 5 apples and asked you to eat them.  Could you ? Now, I give you five dried apples.  Could you eat those ? Dried fruit, like fruit juice, concentrates the sugar so you're getting more of it for the amount of food you consume.
