Yes John, the so called "ideal weight" by checking the BMI guides.
Three years ago I damaged my ankle and couldn't exercise. Two years ago I went sugar free and lost all the weight I felt I needed to lose and look good and feel good.
Recently I started the exercise up again, particularly for strength gain as I had lost all my muscle due to lack of exercise. I do weights for upper body work and pedaling for my legs.
I have got back all my muscle strength which is great as I can now lift easily and walk up stairs easily. This put on at least three kilos of muscle.
So, I check the BMI guide and it tells me I am "overweight" I still look and feel good but an arbitrary guide tells me I am
OVERWEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
These so called guides are useless as everyone's body type is different. I don't need to try to lose any more weight and I wouldn't let a guide tell me I need to as all my extra weight is muscle. I can see it for goodness sake!!!
cheers
